The pavilions open their doors at 12.15 p.m.; 38 bells in the churches and monastery in Seville ring out; more than 100 hot-air balloons in the colours of the participating countries rise up into the air; 5,000 pigeons fly into the sky.

Their majesties return to the royal pavilion.
